ME3 Femshep Texture Overhaul

This mod has been replaced by: ME3 Character Texture Overhaul which includes male support.

I have replaced most of the female textures in the character creator with improved versions and packed them in one texmod.

Inside this mod:
Female complexion sliders - all three complexion settings (diffuse and normals)
Eyes - new irises
Eyelashes by Eranen
Eyebrows - Cleaned up, a few were altered for a more natural placement
Makeup Mask - The most notable change here is the eyeliner to look more like Mass Effect 2
Female Wrinkle Mask - Smoothed for less extreme frown lines
Male Wrinkle Mask - Smoothed to fix ugly pixelation

There is a visible seam around the hairline which is present in the base game.  I have not been able to remove it completely.

Thank you to Eranen on the BSN for permission to bundle their Eyelashes Redone mod with this.  They are by far my favorite!

    1. Np. I edit them normally in Photoshop and save as DXT1, then open up in Microsoft SDK Texture Tool and change them to V8U8 format <-- which works in game. Here's a tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBIPPH_NH9E&list=PLk-2AFRjikbPseLUtByvdCbyiCfGxDhIf

  7. I love this! Awesome work!

Out of curiosity what's the face code for the Shepard in the first image? =D I would love to use it during one of my game plays.

I got that one off the faces website:

    2. Thank you!

Also, I wanted to try an put the textures into the game via ME3Explorer. You wouldn't happen to have the texture names (HMF_HED_PROBase_Face_Diff). If not, no worries, I can figure it out, or use the Texmod for it. =D

  8. When you were creating these textures, did you ever have trouble with the face being super shiny? Is there a specular map that you need to edit for face textures as well?

    1. There's no spec map, its in the alpha layer of the diffuse (lighter = shinier)

    2. How do you edit the alpha channel? Every time I try, it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm using gimp, if that helps.

  9. Any possibility of this being ported to ME1/ME2?

And XD the captcha was the word "Vorcha".

    1. Not at the moment, and I don't have either installed right now.
Though if someone else would like to convert it, I have no problems.

  10. These are fantastic texture improvements, kudos!

One question: I like to play my Femshep without any makeup, so the eye area of your texture looks a little heavy on her. Any chance you could make no make-up versions at some point?

    1. The makeup looks heavier because it is ME2 style, you can remove it with the save editor or in the character creator.
