Mass Effect 3 Mod: Kasumi Dress

This mod replaces the dress with the ME2 Kasumi DLC dress.
Retexture for ME3 by Ottemis.

Option 1: ME3Explorer .mod install

.mod DOWNLOAD

1. Install the .mods with Mod Maker in ME3Explorer
You can download ME3Explorer here.

Open ME3Explorer.

In Tools open Mod Maker.
(If it's you're first time using Mod Maker you might need to create a texture tree. Under Developer Tools run Texplorer and it will automatically direct you to create a tree. After this is complete you can install files with Mod Maker.)

File -> Load Jobs -> select .mod files
Run -> Run All

*this only replaces the dress file, not the entire PCC, so it is ideal and compatible with other mods i.e. buff femshep or outfit replacers (so long as the outfit being replaced is not the dress.)

Option 2: PCC install; old method

1. Follow the install instructions HERE

2. Run the included tpf with Texmod or it will use the original dress textures.

Known Issue: The Citadel DLC uses the same set of textures for the party dress.  Don't run the texmod during the forced dress scenes, or it will use the wrong textures!
If you know how to edit the coalesced, a workaround is changing the ID of the dress to 100, so when the outfit is forced on, it will reference the base game dress and not the Citadel version.

  1. This is gorgeous! Just wondering about the Citadel DLC dress. In this mod (http://social.bioware.com/project/8737/#details) they have a code that will make the Citadel dress use the right textures - would that work for this dress, so it would appear during the party scene? (hopefully that makes sense)

    1. Thank you :)
I'm not sure if this would work I will give it a try. I have been told it works, but there are a few instances where the DLC mesh will still show up.

    2. Months late, but I thought you might want to know that I just used this mod for the Citadel DLC and it looked fantastic. So much better than the default dress, thank you for making and sharing it. Replacing the BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R texture seems to have done interesting things to Brooks, as she's wearing the same original dress.

Still, it's a small price to pay to look this good.

  4. Awesome mod; thanks for sharing it! I'm having a lot of trouble with getting it to work in my game: when I install it, half of the dress looks like the original version while the other half is a mix of the two, and clipping really badly. Any suggestions?

    1. This is due to a problem with texmod, I had the same problem.
Simply follow through this (I don't know if I can make it a hyperlink so simply copy and paste as I am unfamiliar with this sites comment abilities) and it should be fine, it worked for me.

    2. I super really appreciate your response! I followed the directions, and the clipping was a little bit better, but not by much. I'll give it another shot, but I don't know what else I could do differently. But thank you for your help!

  6. I think I broke it, it's all my fault. You don't want to know what the casual dress mod looks like right now. It's scandalous. @___@ How do I uninstall it? or revert things back to the way they were? Any help would be amazing/awesome.

  7. If mesh works but not the texture, download the "old version" and use ME3 Explorer TPF tools to run the TPF.

  8. Hi, I like to asked how do you change the texture for Ashley and Brook dresses so all 3 look the same or have different colors? I get a weird graphic on ashley and brooks, how do we fix this?
