I tried replacing the same style, but it wasn't changing in game for me, so I replaced one of the unused old meshes, the custom cute.
2. Use Gibbed to mod the following hair mesh and textures following this guide: link

ReplyDeleteOMG I love you! Why does Bioware have such a freakin limited hairstyle choice? Anyway THANK U! I can finally see my Carmen Shepard with a different hairstyle than the first 2 games, one that i can actually tolerate!
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: Hello i just wanted to post some links that show this awesome mod works!

A weird thing happened when I tried to use this, the hair worked fine but the area around her ears and neck turned metallic green??? so did her teeth. i have no idea what happened.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is, your replaced the texture of your HED_scalp_diff instead of your Hair_diff
DeleteForgot to say thanks for this mod to ELE08 , & merylisk for linking to it.
DeleteSooo first off, my ME3 crashes when I use the Long diff, but I get the custom cute (with which I've been playing with till now) when I use short diff as the second part. So now I wanted to change the haircut of my shep (she was blonde) but now it kinda looks like there are still parts of the custom cute integrated into the default femshep hair and the haircolour turned to like a muddy brown-green... (and it looks kinda weird and not like it should). Then I changed the haircolor and the hair was really dark and there was no shine to it :/
ReplyDeleteWhat did I do wrong?
